hi everybody,
i have two questions: first, i keep seeing the following error over and over and over again in my tomcat log: ERROR - ForEachEncounterTag.doStartTag(59) |2010-05-15 11:03:40,285| ForEachEncounterTag skipping body due to 'encounters' param = [] has anybody seen this before? it started when i upgraded to openmrs 1.6.1 from 1.5.2. second, i switched from windows xp to ubuntu 10.04. i'm very pleased with the slight improvement in performance, but all my logs are being written into one file "catalina.out" now. how do i get tomcat to start a new one each day? thanks!! nick Nicholas J. Not sure why that was ever set to the "error" level. I've fixed it for
1.7+ and 1.6.2+. Linux tomcat puts everything in catalina.out, but then it should also do a nightly split of the files. Is it not doing that as well? Tomcat logging FAQ points at this site for how to rotate logging: http://marc.info/?t=105544472600001&r=1&w=2a (I haven't read it) Ben On 05/17/2010 04:44 PM, Nicholas J. thanks, ben. it is doing the nightly splits, but they only contain parts of the log.
