Implementation of Upload and View or Download Image or File in HTMLForm Entry Module

Hi all,
I am Pratik Zambani studying B.Tech Computer Science and Engg in 2nd yr at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad(IIIT-H). I am interested in doing Upload and View or Download Image in HTML Form Entry Module as GSOC project.

I had a doubt about implementation of this project. Saptarshi sir(mentor of this project) told me about the ways in which we could implement this.
First one was either creating a new tag that will let us upload an image into the form and then view the image later. Also we have an Image Handler class for ComplexObs for doing this.
The other method is make the <obs> tag understand that when the concept's value type is COMPLEX that time it needs to contain a required attribute to the tag called say. e.g. <obs concept="110" handler = "ImageHandler"> and this will use the ImageHandler class and on the view will display an upload/view in the HTMLFormEntry.

What method would be better for implementing this ?

Re: Implementation of Upload and View or Download Image or File in HTMLForm Entry Module

I actually like the second method better. Since we already define the concept datatype as well as the handler in the concept dictionary user interface, it would be better if the handler does not need to be defined in the attribute of the tag.

If it wouldn't be a burden, I would also prefer if you could put a thumbnail preview of the image in the form once uploaded and an attribute on the size of this thumbnail.
